Tasks Integrations Overview

Momentum's Tasks integrations allow you to connect your favorite 3rd-party task managers so you can conveniently add, view and update your 3rd-party tasks within Momentum.

Momentum has integrations with Asana, Basecamp, ClickUp, GitHub, Google Tasks,
Microsoft To Do, Todoist, Trello — with plans to add more in the future!

How they work

Momentum's Tasks integrations share the same look and feel of Momentum's default Tasks. The goal of each Tasks integration is to provide you with a quick and easy way to view, add, and complete your 3rd-party tasks within Momentum.

Some integrations also include options to filter completed tasks or tasks that are only assigned to you. Other actions like creating new lists, assigning tasks, setting priority, etc., must be done in your 3rd-party task manager's native app or website.

Connecting/disconnecting

Connecting

To connect to a Tasks integration:

1. Go to the Tasks section of Momentum's Settings ⚙️
2. Scroll down to the Integrations section
3. Click + Add Integration
4. Select the integration you want to connect to
5. Login/authorize your 3rd-party account
6. Open Momentum's Tasks

Disconnecting

1. Go to the Tasks section of Momentum's Settings ⚙️
2. Scroll down to the Integrations section
3. Hover your mouse cursor over the integration that you want to disconnect from
4. Click Disconnect

You can find specific connection instructions for each integration in the Tasks integrations section

Switching between integrations

To access and switch between your Tasks integrations/sources:

1. Click Tasks at the bottom right corner of Momentum
2. Click the ••• More icon in the top right of the Tasks app
3. Click Switch to...
4. Click the integration that you want to switch to

Pro tip: You can also switch between connected Tasks integrations/sources by holding shift and then pressing the ← or → keys on your keyboard.

Switching between lists

After selecting a Tasks source, you can switch between an integration's lists by clicking the active list name (or integration's icon) at the top left of the Tasks app.

Pro tip: When Tasks is open, you can also switch between lists by pressing the ← or → keys on your keyboard.
