To opt-in, open Tasks and click the "Switch to the new Tasks experience!" banner. For the time being, if you would like to go back to Tasks v1, you can log out of your Momentum account and sign back in

Upgrade to Tasks v2

If you’re still using the previous version, you can upgrade once the upgrade banner appears in Tasks.
To upgrade:

Click Tasks (in the bottom right).

Click the "Switch to the new Tasks experience" banner at the top of the list.
Your tasks and lists will be safely migrated. If you have a problem with migration, please reach out to our customer support team.
Add and complete tasks

Open and edit task details
Turn simple tasks into clear plans.
Click any task to open it. From the task view, you can:

Edit the task name

Add or change a date

Add subtasks
-
You’ll also see + New subtask.
You can also click the Date and Subtask icons at the bottom of the task view to quickly update details.
Adding details helps you move from “I should do this” to “I know exactly what to do next.”
Delete a task

Remove tasks you no longer need:

Hover over the task

Click the ••• menu

Select Delete
Note: This action cannot be undone.
Use quick actions on tasks
Hover over a task to take action instantly:

Today (sun icon) – Mark it as your focus for today

Change Date (calendar icon) – Add or update a due date

Additional actions from the task menu
Click the ••• menu on a task to access more actions:

Edit – Update the task

Date – Set or change the task’s schedule. You can quickly choose from Today, Tomorrow, and Next Sunday, or select a specific date using Choose Date.
Tomorrow and Next Sunday are only available from the task menu and are not included in the quick actions.

Subtask – Add subtasks to the task

Set as Daily Goal – Highlight the task as a priority for your day.

Move to another list – Use In [list name] to move the task to a different list.

Duplicate – Copy the task
-
Delete – Remove the task from your list.
You can also right-click a task to open this menu.

Q: Why do my tasks appear in multiple lists?
A: Tasks with a due date stay in their original list but also appear in Today when they’re due. This helps you stay focused without losing where the task belongs.
Q: Where did my old tasks go after upgrading?
A: All your tasks and lists are automatically migrated when you upgrade to Tasks v2. Nothing is lost.
Q: Why don’t I see Tasks v2 yet?
A: The update is rolling out gradually. Check your version in Settings → About, or try the beta version.
Q: Can I undo deleting a task?
A: No, deleted tasks cannot be recovered. Be sure before deleting.
Q: Why is "Task" missing from my main settings?
A: Once you upgrade to Task V2, the Task settings move to the Task app itself, where you can add and manage integrations.
