Momentum transforms every new tab into a calm, productive space that helps you stay focused throughout the day. Whether you're setting a goal, managing tasks, or simply taking a mindful pause, Momentum gives you the tools to build better daily habits.
This guide walks you through the essentials so you can start using Momentum in just a few minutes.
Install Momentum
Install Momentum on your preferred browser and create a free account to sync your dashboard across devices.
- Choose your browser:
- Click Add to Chrome, Add to Firefox, Get, or the equivalent install button for your browser.
- When prompted, click Add extension to install Momentum.
- After the installation finishes, Momentum will open in a new tab.
- Enter your Name, Email, and choose a Password to create your Momentum account.
- Verify your email address if prompted to finish setting up your account.
- You're all set! Your Momentum dashboard is ready whenever you open a new tab.

Set your Daily Goal
Your Daily Goal helps you start each day with intention by keeping your most important priority front and center. Every time you open a new tab, you'll be reminded of what matters most.
To get started
- Click the Daily Goal prompt in the center of your dashboard.
- Type your goal or intention.
- Press Enter to save it.
To mark your goal as complete, hover over it and click the checkbox.

Add your first task
Keep your to-dos close by with Tasks. You can quickly capture reminders, organize your work, and check off completed items without leaving your dashboard.
To get started
- Open Tasks in the bottom-right corner of your dashboard.
- Type your task.
- Press Enter.
To complete a task, click the checkbox beside it.

Save your favorite links
Links keeps the websites you use most just one click away, helping you stay focused without searching through bookmarks or open tabs.
To get started
- Open Links in the top-left corner of your dashboard.
- Click New Link.
- Enter a Name and URL.
- Press Enter to save.

Customize your dashboard
Momentum is designed to feel personal. Use Settings :settings-2: to choose which features appear and personalize your dashboard to fit your routine.
From Settings, you can:
- Show or hide dashboard features
- Change your clock format
- Adjust your dashboard preferences

Stay focused with Focus Mode
Focus Mode creates a calm workspace that helps you concentrate on one task at a time. Start a focus session with a timer, reduce distractions, and build momentum throughout your work.
Start a Focus session
- Click Focus at the top-left corner of your dashboard.
- Your session will begin using your saved Focus Mode settings.
