Links lets you save and access your favorite, most-used websites right from your Momentum dashboard. Once you add a link, it syncs to your Momentum account, so it's there whenever you're signed in, on any device. No more digging through browser history or reopening the same tabs every morning.
💡 Why use Links? Keeping your go-to sites one click away means less time searching and more time in your flow. Pin your most important shortcuts to your dashboard for instant access every time you open a new tab.
Turn on Links
Links is enabled by default, but if you don't see it on your dashboard, check that it's turned on:
- Open :settings-2: Settings
- Go to General.
- Under Apps, find Links and make sure the toggle is ON.
💡 Tip: If Links is turned off here, the Links app won't appear on your dashboard, even if you've already added links. Turn it back on and everything reappears automatically.
Add a link
- Click Links in the top-left corner of your dashboard.
- Click the + icon.
- Enter a Title for the link (e.g., "Momentum Dash").
- Enter the URL (e.g., "momentumdash.com").
- Click Add to save.
💡 Tip: Pressing
enterafter adding a link lets you add another URL right away, creating a tab group.
Pin to dashboard: Toggle this on while adding a link to create a quick-access shortcut in the upper-left area of your dashboard, outside the Links panel. You can unpin it anytime.
Rearrange your links
- Open the Links menu.
- Click and hold a link.
- Drag it up or down the list.
- Release to save the new order.
Edit, pin, or delete a link
- Open the Links menu.
- Hover over the link you want to change.
- Click the three-dot menu.
- Choose Edit (pencil icon), Pin (pin icon), or Delete (trash icon).
💡 Tip: Pinned link icons can display in monochrome by default. This applies to individually pinned links only (it does not currently apply to Tab Groups). To switch a pinned link's icon back to full color, open the three-dot menu on the pinned link and select enable color pinned icons.
Keep the Links menu open
By default, the Links menu closes each time you open a new Momentum tab. To keep it open:
- Open :settings-2: Settings
- Go to Links & Bookmarks Bar.
- Under Links, toggle Stay open ON.
The Links panel now stays visible whenever you open a new tab.
Open links in a new tab
By default, clicking a link opens it in your current tab. To always open links in a new tab instead:
- Open :settings-2: Settings
- Go to Links & Bookmarks Bar.
- Toggle Open links in new tab ON.
FAQs
:::faq
Q: Why isn't the Links app showing up on my dashboard?
A: Check that Links is turned on under :settings-2: Settings > General > Apps. If it's toggled off, the Links app won't appear, even if you've saved links before. Turning it back on restores everything automatically.
Q: Why do my pinned links look grayed out instead of colored?
A: Pinned link icons can display in monochrome by default. To switch them back to full color, open the Links menu, click the three-dot menu on a pinned link, and select enable color pinned icons.
Q: Where do my pinned links appear?
A: Pinned links show up in the upper-left area of your dashboard, outside the main Links panel, so they're visible at a glance. You can unpin any link at any time from its three-dot menu.
Q: Can I make my links always open in a new tab instead of the current one?
A: Yes. Head to :settings-2: Settings > Links & Bookmarks Bar and toggle Open links in new tab ON.
