Most goals or projects aren't achieved overnight, you'll have to make daily steps towards them. Momentum's Daily Focus helps you make regular progress towards your goals by asking the important question, What is your main focus for today?.
Your Daily Focus appears at the center of Momentum and you'll see it whenever you open a New Tab. It will reset each day at 4 am local time, whether or not it was completed, to encourage starting each day with a clean slate.
In this help article, you will learn...
- How to add and complete your Focus
- How to enable/disable the Focus
- How to change/delete your active Focus
- What Autofocus does and how you can use it
To add a Focus, click underneath "What is your main focus for today?", type in the main thing you want to concentrate on for the day, and then press the enter/return ↵ key on your keyboard.
To complete your Focus, hover your mouse cursor over it and then click the Checkbox that appears to the left.
If you've completed a Focus and want to add another one, hover your mouse cursor over your completed Focus and then click the + icon that appears to the right.
Focus is enabled by default. To turn it on or off, visit the General section of Momentum's Settings ⚙️, find the Focus option under the Show section, and then click the switch to the right of it.
Changing/deleting your active Focus
To delete your active Focus, hover your mouse cursor over it and then click the 'X' that appears to the right. Once your active Focus has been deleted you can add a new one.
Autofocus connects your Todo list to your Focus, so whenever you complete your Focus it is replaced with the next item on your Todo list.
