Seeing two Bookmarks Bars on your Momentum dashboard? This usually happens when both Momentum’s Bookmarks Bar and your browser’s built-in bookmarks bar are visible at the same time.
Your bookmarks haven’t been duplicated. Both bars are displaying bookmarks saved in your browser.
💡 Keep Momentum’s Bookmarks Bar: Hide your browser’s built-in bookmarks bar using the steps below. Your saved bookmarks won’t be deleted.
Chrome
To hide Chrome’s built-in bookmarks bar:
- Mac : Press Cmd + Shift + B.
- Windows : Press Ctrl + Shift + B.
Chrome’s bookmarks bar should disappear while Momentum’s Bookmarks Bar remains visible.
Edge
To hide Edge’s built-in bookmarks bar:
- Mac : Press Cmd + Shift + B.
- Windows : Press Ctrl + Shift + B.
Edge’s bookmarks bar should disappear while Momentum’s Bookmarks Bar remains visible.
Firefox
To hide Firefox's built-in bookmarks toolbar:
- Right-click the Library icon in the upper-right corner of Firefox.
- Select Bookmarks Toolbar, then choose Never Show.
Momentum's Bookmarks Bar will remain visible on your dashboard.
Hide Momentum’s Bookmarks Bar instead
If you prefer to keep your browser’s built-in bookmarks bar, you can hide Momentum’s Bookmarks Bar instead.
- Open Settings :settings-2:
- Go to General.
- Under Apps, find Bookmarks Bar.
- Turn Bookmarks Bar off.
Turning off Momentum’s Bookmarks Bar only hides it from your dashboard. Your bookmarks remain saved in your browser.
