Momentum lets you skip or change your photo, quote, or mantra whenever you want a fresh look or aren't feeling today's pick. Skip and Change give you more control over what shows up on your dashboard, without waiting for the next automatic refresh.
❇️ Momentum Plus Exclusive
Skipping and changing your photo, quote, or mantra is available with Momentum Plus. Upgrade to Plus to unlock this along with other Plus features.

Skipping your active mantra
Skipping a mantra instantly replaces it with a new one. Unlike photos and quotes, mantra skipping has no daily limit.

- Click the ellipsis (...) beside your active mantra
- Select Skip mantra from the dropdown
Permanently hiding a mantra
If you'd rather never see a specific mantra again, you can turn it off with Don't show mantra. This only applies to mantras from the Momentum feed, since custom mantras you've personally created or added under My Mantras don't have this option.
To hide a feed mantra permanently:
- Click the ellipsis (...) beside your active mantra
- Select Don't show mantra from the dropdown
Changing your active mantra

- Select Mantra settings from the dropdown
- Choose My Mantras, Favorites, or History
- Click the checkmark icon next to the mantra you want to set active
💡 Tip: Select Pin from the same dropdown if you'd like your mantra to stay visible all day instead of alternating with the greeting.
FAQs
:::faq
Q: Do I need Momentum Plus to skip or change my photo, quote, or mantra?
A: Yes. Skip and Change for photos, quotes, and mantras are all Momentum Plus features.
Q: Is there a limit to how many times I can skip?
A: Photos and quotes each support 5 skips per day, after which skipping cycles back through that day's 5 items. Mantras have no skip limit.
Q: Can I permanently stop seeing a specific mantra?
A: Yes, using Don't show mantra from the active mantra's dropdown. This only works for mantras from the Momentum feed. Custom mantras you've added under My Mantras don't have this option.
Q: Can I keep the same mantra all day instead of it rotating?
A: Yes. Select Pin from your active mantra's dropdown to keep it showing all day instead of alternating with the greeting.
Q: Where can I find my past photos, quotes, or mantras, or pick a specific one?
A: Each feature has its own Favorites and History collection, found in its section under Settings, or through Manage photos / Manage quotes on the item itself. This is also the best way to set a specific item active instead of skipping.
