Adding custom Todo lists lets you organize your todos in a number of different ways that might better fit your workflow. You can add new Todo lists directly from the Todo menu or in the Todo Settings ⚙️.
Adding lists from the Todo menu
Click Todo at the bottom right corner of the dashboard, click the active list name at the top left of the Todo menu, select the + New List option, type in a name for your list and then press the enter/return ↵ key on your keyboard.

Visit the Todo section of the Settings ⚙️, click the + Add List button, type in a name for your list and then press the enter/return ↵ key on your keyboard.
The color label is the colorful stripe that appears to the left of a Todo list name. Use them to add a bit of personality to your Todo, or as a way to quickly identify your lists.
To add or change a color label, visit the Todo section of the Settings ⚙️, click the small box to the left of a Todo list, and then select one of the color options.
To move a todo to a different Todo list, hover your mouse cursor over a todo, click the ... that appears, select the Move to option, and then choose the list you want it moved to from the dropdown.
Moving a todo to a neighboring list
To quickly move a todo to an neighboring Todo list, click, drag, and drop a todo on either side of the Todo menu.
Reordering your Todo lists in the Todo Settings ⚙️changes how they display when in the Todo list dropdown, and also changes which list neighbors which when you drag a todo to either side of the Todo menu.
- A list that is directly above another list will be appear on the left of the Todo menu when you drag a todo over it.
- A list that is directly below another list will appear on the right of the Todo menu when you drag a todo over it.
To reorder your Todo lists, visit the Todo section of the Settings ⚙️, click the list name, drag it to a new spot in the list and then release your click.
To rename a custom Todo list, visit the Todo section of the Settings ⚙️, double-click the list you want to rename or click the Rename option that appears, make your changes and then hit the enter/return ↵ key on your keyboard.
To delete a custom Todo list, visit the Todo section of the Settings ⚙️, hover your mouse cursor over the list you want to delete, click the Trash can icon that appears to the right and then click Yes (or No, if you've changed your mind).
- If the Todo list you're deleting has todos in it, you'll also have to click Move to Inbox. This extra step is to ensure that you don't accidentally lose any important todos.
