If your Notes or Countdowns suddenly disappear from your Momentum dashboard, they may simply be hidden by one of your dashboard settings.
Follow the troubleshooting steps below to check your dashboard settings, Balance Mode, and Focus Mode and get them showing again.

Check if Notes or Countdowns are turned on
Start by checking whether the missing feature is turned on in your dashboard settings.
- Open Settings :settings-2: in the bottom-left corner.
- Select General.
- Find Notes or Countdowns.
- Make sure the feature is turned on.
If the feature was turned off, turning it back on should make it visible on your dashboard again.
💡 Hiding Notes or Countdowns from your dashboard doesn't delete the content you've saved in them.
Check Balance Mode
If Notes or Countdowns are turned on but still aren't showing, Balance Mode may be hiding them during your downtime.
Balance Mode lets you hide selected dashboard features outside your scheduled uptime, helping you separate your work and personal time.
To check:
- Open Settings :settings-2:.
- Select Balance.
- Check whether Balance Mode is turned on.
- Review your Downtime Options to see which features are set to hide.
If the missing feature is set to hide during downtime, adjust its setting or temporarily turn off Balance Mode to see if it returns.

Still not showing?
If you've confirmed that Notes or Countdowns are turned on, aren't being hidden by Balance Mode, and you're not viewing your Focus Mode workspace, contact Momentum Support.
When contacting us, let us know:
- Whether Notes or Countdowns are missing.
- Whether they're missing all the time or only at certain times.
- Whether you've checked General, Balance Mode, and Focus Mode.
- Which browser you're using.
