Momentum’s Google Calendar integration helps you stay organized by bringing your upcoming events, countdowns to meetings, and quick video call access right to your dashboard, so you can stay focused and on time without switching tabs.

Connecting your Google Calendar
To connect your calendar:
- Click the Settings icon at the bottom left of your dashboard.
- Select Calendar from the side menu.
- Under Manage Calendar, click Connect Google Calendar.
- Choose the Google account you’d like to connect.
💡 Momentum only displays events from the Google account you connect here. It won’t automatically use your sign-up account.

Viewing upcoming events on your dashboard
You can display your next events just below your greeting and clock.
To enable this:
- Go to Settings → Calendar.
- Make sure Below the center is toggled ON.
- Set Display option to Next Events.
- Under Manage Calendar, ensure your calendar toggle is ON.
If Daily Goal or Search and Links is selected, it will replace the event display.
Showing a countdown to your next meeting
Momentum can show a countdown timer in the top-right corner for your next scheduled event.
To enable it:
- Go to Settings → Calendar.
- Toggle ON Calendar (shows next-up events).
You’ll see a countdown appear for any event with a set start time, a gentle reminder to stay punctual.
Joining video calls with one click

If your calendar event includes a video call link (Google Meet, Zoom, etc.), Momentum will display a Join button just above the Calendar event
- Click Join to instantly open the call, no need to search your inbox or open another tab.
Starting focus sessions between meetings
Momentum helps you make the most of the time between meetings.
When a gap appears in your schedule, click the Focus button to start a short session.
- The timer automatically ends five minutes before your next meeting, giving you time to transition.

Disconnecting your Google Calendar
To remove your calendar connection:
- Go to Settings → Calendar.
- Under Manage Calendar, click Disconnect.
Your events and meeting countdowns will disappear from the dashboard, but your data stays safe in Google Calendar. You can reconnect anytime.
Fixing issues with calendar sync
If your events aren’t showing or syncing properly:
- Go to Settings → Calendar.
- Confirm the correct Google account is connected.
- Make sure the calendar toggle is ON.
If the wrong account is connected:
- Go to Settings → Calendar → Manage Calendar.
- Click Disconnect.
- Reconnect the correct Google account.

Q: Can I connect more than one Google Calendar?
A: Not right now. Momentum supports one Google Calendar connection per account.
Q: Why don’t all-day events appear?
A: All-day events don’t show below the clock or in countdown timers since they have no set start time. You can still view them by clicking the calendar icon in the top-right.
Q: Does Momentum support Outlook or Apple Calendar?
A: Not at this time. Only Google Calendar is supported.
Q: What happens if I remove my Google Calendar?
A: Your events will disappear from the dashboard, but your calendar data stays safe with Google. You can reconnect anytime.
