Momentum's Google Calendar integration brings your upcoming events, a meeting countdown, and one-click video call access straight to your dashboard. Instead of switching tabs to check what's next, you can see your schedule at a glance and stay focused and on time.
Connect your Google Calendar
To connect your calendar:
- Open:settings-2: Settings.
- Select Calendar from the side menu.
- Under Manage Calendar, click Connect Google Calendar.
- Choose the Google account you'd like to connect.
💡 Momentum only displays events from the Google account you connect here. It won't automatically use your sign-up account.
View your upcoming events on your dashboard

You can display your next events just below your greeting and clock, so you always know what's coming up without opening a new tab.
To enable this:
- Go to:settings-2: Settings → Calendar.
- Toggle Below the center ON.
- Set the Display option to Next Events.
- Under Manage Calendar, make sure your calendar toggle is ON.
💡 If Daily Goal or Search and Links is selected as your display option, it replaces the event display instead.
See a countdown to your next meeting

Momentum can show a countdown timer in the top right corner of your dashboard for your next scheduled event, a gentle nudge to help you stay punctual.
To enable it:
- Go to:settings-2: Settings → Calendar.
- Toggle Calendar ON. This shows your next-up events.
A countdown appears for any event that has a set start time.
Join video calls with one click

If your calendar event includes a video call link, such as Google Meet or Zoom, Momentum shows a Join button just above the event. Click it to open the call right away, with no need to search your inbox or open another tab.
Start a focus session between meetings
Momentum helps you make the most of the time between meetings. When a gap appears in your schedule, click Focus to start a short session. The timer automatically ends five minutes before your next meeting, giving you time to transition.

To remove your calendar connection:

Your events and meeting countdowns will disappear from your dashboard, but your data stays safe in Google Calendar. You can reconnect anytime.
Fix calendar sync issues
If your events aren't showing or syncing properly, check the following in:settings-2: Settings → Calendar:
- Confirm the correct Google account is connected.
- Make sure your calendar toggle is ON.
If the wrong account is connected, click Disconnect under Manage Calendar, then reconnect the correct Google account.
