Use backlinks

Backlinks appear near the top of the linked note, below its title. Select a backlink to quickly return to the note that referenced it.
This creates a two-way connection between your notes, making it easier to follow related ideas without searching through your entire Notes collection.
Build a connected Notes system
As you create more links, your Notes can become a connected knowledge system where related ideas, projects, research, and references are easier to navigate.
For example, you might connect:
- a project note to its research
- meeting notes to the project they relate to
- an idea to supporting notes
- related topics or concepts
Instead of keeping every note isolated, linking lets you build context between them as your ideas develop.
