ClickUp

Sync your ClickUp tasks across different hierarchies to Momentum Tasks. The changes you make to your ClickUp tasks within Momentum's Tasks appear in ClickUp and vice versa.

Connecting the integration

In order to use Momentum's ClickUp integration, you'll need a ClickUp account and a ClickUp Workspace. If you don't already have a ClickUp account, you can create one from ClickUp's sign-up page with their Free forever plan.

To connect to Momentum's ClickUp integration:

1. Click the Settings ⚙️ icon at the bottom left corner of Momentum.
2. Click Todo on the left side of Momentum's Settings ⚙️menu.
3. Scroll down to the Integrations section of the Todo Settings ⚙️, and then click the + Add Integration button.
4. Select ClickUp and then click Connect. A secure window will open for you to log in to/authorize your ClickUp account.
5. Log in to your existing ClickUp account's Email Address & Password
6. Choose the Workspace(s) that you'd like to connect to
7. Click Todo at the bottom right corner of Momentum to access your ClickUp projects and tasks within Momentum.

Once logged in, select the Workspace(s) that you'd like to connect to, and you'll be able to access ClickUp Tasks in Momentum's Todo.

Configuring ClickUp Spaces

To configure your ClickUp Spaces:

1. Click the Settings ⚙️icon at the bottom left corner of Momentum.
2. Click Todo on the left side of Momentum's Settings ⚙️menu.
3. Scroll down to the Integrations section of the Todo Settings ⚙️, and then click the Configure button.
4. Select the Space(s) that you'd like to integrate with Momentum.

If you want to disconnect a Space, you can follow the same process:

1. Visit the Todo section of Momentum's Settings ⚙️
2. Scroll down to the Integrations section of the Todo Settings ⚙️
3. Click the Configure button
4. Click on Disconnect next to the Space(s) that you'd like to remove.

If your ClickUp tasks aren't displaying after connecting:

1. click Todo at the bottom right corner of Momentum to open the Todo menu
2. Click ••• at the top right corner of the Todo menu
3. Click the Switch to... option
4. Select ClickUp.

Pro tip: You can also hold down Shift and then press the ← or → arrow keys on your keyboard while the Todo menu is open, to quickly switch between your ClickUp integration and any other Todo integrations/sources that you're connected to.

Adding, editing, and deleting your ClickUp Tasks

You can add, edit, and delete your ClickUp tasks in the same way that you would your Momentum tasks.

Switching between your ClickUp Spaces, Folders, Lists

Switching between Spaces

To switch between your ClickUp Spaces:

1. Click the ••• at the top right corner of the Todo Menu
2. Click 'Switch to', and select a Space.

Pro tip: You can also press the ← or → arrow keys on your keyboard while your Todo menu is open to quickly switch between your projects. 

Switching between Folders and Lists

To switch between your ClickUp Folders:

1. Click the down arrow key next to the Folder/List name
2. Select the Folder and List that you want to open.

ClickUp Task filters

Momentum's ClickUp integration allows you to use filters to drill down the information you need. Use filters to see tasks assigned to you, the subtasks, and closed tasks

All of these filters can be found by clicking the ••• at the top right corner of Tasks.

Assigned to me

The filter displays tasks that are assigned to you.

To enable this filter:

1. Click ••• at the top right of Tasks.
2. Select the Assigned to me option. Clicking the Assigned to me option again will disable it.

Show subtasks

The Show subtasks filter displays the subtasks that are linked to a Parent task.

To enable this filter:

1. Click the ••• at the top right corner of the Todo menu
2. Select the Show subtasks option. Clicking the Show subtasks option again will disable it.

Show all Closed tasks

The Show all closed tasks filter displays your completed tasks alongside your uncompleted ones.

To enable this filter:

1. Click the ••• at the top right corner of the Todo menu
2. Click the Show all closed tasks option. Clicking the Show all closed tasks option again will disable it.

Viewing in ClickUp

The View in ClickUp options redirect you to your ClickUp Workspace, so you can manage your tasks from different Views and levels of ClickUp's Hierarchy.

Viewing a List in ClickUp

To view a List in ClickUp:

1. Click the ••• at the top right corner of the Todo menu
2. Select the View in ClickUp option.

Viewing a task in ClickUp

To view a single task in ClickUp:

1. Hover your mouse cursor over the task
2. Click the ••• that appears to the right
3. Select the View in ClickUp option. 

Having problems connecting to this integration?

If you've connected to the wrong ClickUp account, or are stuck setting up the ClickUp integration, you can try reconnecting the integration. For detailed instructions, see our Reconnecting an integration help article.

Note: If you're using a Google Account to log in to ClickUp, make sure to sign out of any Google account(s) that you might be logged in to. Otherwise, you might automatically log in to the incorrect ClickUp account when you reconnect to Momentum's ClickUp integration.
