Set Momentum as your new tab page
If you accidentally selected Not now instead of Set as new tab page during setup, Safari will continue displaying its default start page instead of your Momentum dashboard.
You can change this anytime using either of the methods below.
Option 1: Re-enable Momentum in Safari
You can trigger the setup prompt again by turning the Momentum extension off and back on.
- Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap the Page Menu icon beside Safari's address bar.
- Select Manage Extensions.
- Turn Momentum off, then turn it back on.
- When prompted with "Would you like to open new tabs with Momentum?", select Set as new tab page.
Option 2: Change your Safari settings
You can also manually set Momentum as your new tab page from your device's settings.
- Open your iPhone or iPad's Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Apps.
- Select Safari.
- Tap Extensions.
- Under Extensions, select Momentum.
- Tap Open New Tabs.
- Select Momentum instead of Start Page.
Once selected, open a new tab in Safari to see your Momentum dashboard.
💡 Tip: Selecting Start Page will display Safari's default new tab page, while selecting Momentum will open your Momentum dashboard whenever you create a new tab.
