Momentum Dash is built to flex with how you like to work. If a clean, quiet space helps you feel calm and focused, you can shape your dashboard to show only what you love, and nothing else.
💡 Tip: The best dashboard is the one that fits how you work. Customize it to show exactly what helps you, and nothing more.
Choose which widgets appear on your dashboard
Widgets such as Focus :momentum-focus-mode: Tasks :momentum-tasks: Links :momentum-links: and Weather :cloud-sun: can be turned on or off individually. Keeping only the features you use every day can make your dashboard feel less cluttered.
- Open Settings :settings-2:.
- Go to the Dashboard section.
- Toggle on or off any widget, such as Focus :momentum-focus-mode: Tasks :momentum-tasks: Links :momentum-links: or Weather :cloud-sun:.
- Your dashboard updates immediately to reflect your changes.
Your dashboard updates immediately when you change a setting.
💡 Tip: Hiding a widget doesn't delete its data. Your tasks, links, notes, and other saved information remain available when you turn the widget back on.
Create a calmer dashboard
Your background photo can change the overall feel of your dashboard. By default, Momentum rotates your photos, but Momentum Plus lets you choose a specific photo category for a more consistent look.
❇️ Momentum Plus Exclusive
Momentum Plus lets you choose a specific photo category, so your dashboard has the calm, quiet style that feels most peaceful to you instead of a daily rotation.
To create a simpler dashboard:
- Open Settings :settings-2:.
- Select Photos :image:.
- Choose the photo category you want to use.
- Turn off other dashboard features you don't need, such as Mantras, Quotes, or Greeting.
You can keep your clock and photo as the main elements of your dashboard while hiding everything else.
Use Focus Mode for a simpler workspace
When you need to concentrate, Focus Mode :momentum-focus-mode: temporarily clears your dashboard so you can work without the usual distractions.
- Click the Focus Mode :momentum-focus-mode: icon in the top-left corner of your dashboard.
- Choose any tools you want to use, such as Pomodoro :momentum-pomodoro: Timer Sounds or Tab Stash :momentum-tab-stash:.

❇️ Momentum Plus Exclusive
Standard users get limited time of Focus Mode per day. Momentum Plus removes that limit, so you can stay in Focus Mode as long as you need.
Keep your dashboard tidy
A few small changes can make your dashboard easier to scan:
- Turn off widgets you don't use regularly.
- Keep only the features you need for your daily workflow.
- Use Focus Mode :momentum-focus-mode: when you need a temporary distraction-free workspace.
- Keep Tab Groups  collapsed when you want your Links area to take up less space.

A: No. Hiding a widget only removes it from view. Your tasks, links, notes, and other data stay saved and will reappear if you turn the widget back on.

A: Yes. You can turn off every widget in Settings :settings-2: and keep just your photo and the clock centered on your dashboard.

A: No. Hiding a widget doesn't disable it. Any Plus features you've hidden are still active in the background and can be turned back on anytime from Settings.
