Momentum is a browser extension that transforms your new tab into a calming, productive space. You can add it to Chrome, Firefox, Safari (via Mac App Store), or Microsoft Edge in just a few clicks.

Why install Momentum?

Your browser's default new tab doesn't do much, but Momentum turns it into a daily productivity boost. Whether you're tracking tasks, setting goals, or just trying to stay focused, Momentum helps by transforming your new tab into a calming, purpose-driven space.

With a soothing background, focus reminders, and quick access to your to-dos, each new tab becomes a gentle nudge to stay on track, reminding you why you opened it in the first place.

Installing Momentum on Your Browser

Follow the steps below based on your browser, setup takes just a few minutes!

Chrome

Visit the Chrome Web Store and search for Momentum.
Click Add to Chrome.
Select Add extension when prompted.
Momentum will automatically open in a new tab.
If Chrome prompts "Change back to Google," click Keep it to continue using Momentum as your new tab.
Enter your Name, Email, and choose a Password to create your Momentum account.

You're ready to start using Momentum on Chrome!

Firefox

Go to the Firefox Add-ons page and search for Momentum.
Click Add to Firefox.
Confirm by selecting Add.
Momentum will open in a new tab. Click on Agree and continue to proceed
Enter your Name, Email, and create a Password to set up your account.

You're ready to start using Momentum on Firefox!

Safari (Mac App Store)

Open the Mac App Store and search for Momentum.
Click Get, then select Install.
Open a new tab in Safari, Momentum will launch automatically.
Enter your Name, Email, and choose a Password to start using Momentum.

Microsoft Edge

Visit the Microsoft Edge Add-ons page and search for Momentum.
Click Get to the right of the extension.
Select Add extension when prompted.
Click Turn On when Edge asks to enable the extension.
Under Installed extensions, make sure Momentum is toggled on.
If prompted to make Momentum your new tab page, click Keep changes.
Momentum will launch in a new tab.
Enter your Name, Email, and create a Password to set up your account.

You're ready to start using Momentum on Edge!

Sync your experience

You can use Momentum without an account, but we recommend signing up to:

Sync your tasks and settings across devices
Automatically save your progress
Pick up where you left off on any browser

Using Momentum on mobile

While Momentum is primarily a desktop extension, you can use it on your iPhone or iPad via Safari.

Open the App Store on your iOS device.
Search for Momentum Dashboard and install it.
Follow the prompts to enable the extension under Safari Settings.

Troubleshooting common issues

If Momentum isn't working as expected, try the steps below:

Ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.
Temporarily disable other browser extensions to rule out conflicts.
Restart your browser or computer.
