Momentum's Countdown feature counts down the amount of time remaining before your upcoming appointments, deadlines, and events. Countdowns are simple to add and display cleanly at the top right of Momentum.

Enabling/disabling Countdown
To turn the Countdown feature on or off:
- Visit the General section of Momentum's Settings ⚙️
- Find the Countdown option underneath the Show heading
- Click the switch to the right of it.
When Countdown is enabled, + Countdown (or your existing Countdowns) will display at the top right of Momentum.
Adding a Countdown
To add a new Countdown:
- Click + Countdown or one of your custom Countdowns at the top right of Momentum to open the Countdown menu
- Click New Countdown or the + icon at the top right corner of the Countdown menu
- Add your new Countdown's info (Name, Date & Time)
- Click Create.
Pro tip: You can quickly review the date and time of a Countdown by hovering your mouse cursor over any of your active Countdowns.
Pinning/unpinning Countdowns
Pinning a Countdown will display it on your Momentum page at all times. If you have multiple Countdowns and don't pin any of them, one of them will display at random whenever you open or refresh your Momentum page.
To pin or unpin a Countdown:
- Click one of your custom Countdowns at the top right of your Momentum page to open the Countdown menu
- Hover your mouse cursor over the Countdown that you want to pin or unpin
- Click the Pin icon that appears to the right of it.
You can also Pin a Countdown when you first create one, by clicking the switch next to Pin to Dash.
Editing a Countdown
To edit the Name, Date, or Time of a Countdown:
- Click one of your custom Countdowns at the top right of your Momentum page to open the Countdown menu
- Hover your mouse cursor over the Countdown that you want to edit
- Click the Settings ⚙️ that appears to the right of it
- Make your changes
- Click Save.
Archiving/deleting a Countdown
After a Countdown's date has been reached it will display the number of days that have passed since your Countdown was reached. If you'd prefer to remove this countdown from your Momentum page you can Archive or Delete it within the Countdown menu.
- Archiving a Countdown removes it from your Momentum page, but stores it so you can view it again later.
- Deleting a Countdown removes it completely
To archive or delete a Countdown:
- Click one of your Custom countdowns at the top right of Momentum to open the Countdown menu
- Hover your mouse cursor over the Countdown you want to archive or delete in the Countdown menu
- Click the Settings ⚙️ that appears to the right of it
- Click the ellipsis (...) at the top right corner of the Countdown menu
- Select the Archive or Delete option
Viewing and restoring archived Countdowns
To view your archived Countdowns:
- Click one of your custom Countdowns at the top right of Momentum to open the Countdown menu
- Click the ellipsis (...) at the top right corner of the Countdown menu to display the Countdown options
- Select Go to Archive.
To restore an archived Countdown:
- Hover your mouse cursor over one of your archived Countdowns while viewing the Archive
- Click the Restore ⟲ icon that appears.
Enabling/disabling the Show Random option
Activating Show Random in the Countdown option randomly displays one of your un-pinned Countdowns along with your pinned ones whenever you reload your Momentum page. This lets you keep a casual eye on distant events, without cluttering your Momentum page with a bunch of Countdowns.
To enable the Show Random option:
- Click one of your custom Countdowns at the top right of Momentum to open the Countdown menu
- Click the ellipsis (...) at the top right corner of the Countdown menu to display the Countdown options
- Click the switch next to Show Random.
To disable this option, click the switch next to Show Random again.
