Access Momentum outside your browser, just like a native app. The Momentum PWA (Progressive Web App) lets you open Momentum in its own window, directly from your desktop or start menu. It gives you a clean, focused workspace without needing to keep a browser tab open.

What you can do with the Momentum PWA
The PWA lets you launch Momentum directly from your computer, giving you an app-like experience without needing to open a browser tab. It's ideal if you use multiple windows or want to keep Momentum open and easily accessible while staying signed in.
To work properly, the PWA depends on your browser and the Momentum extension being active. If the extension is disabled, the app won't launch correctly.
💡 Note: A few features are available in the browser extension only: Bookmarks bar, Top sites, Tab Stash, and Site Blocker. For these, open Momentum via the extension in your browser.
Installing the Momentum PWA
The Momentum PWA is available on Chrome-based browsers like Chrome, Edge, and Brave.
⚠️ Using Firefox, Safari, or another non-Chrome browser? The PWA is only supported on Chrome-based browsers. To use Momentum as a desktop app, switch to a Chrome-based browser and follow the steps below.
- Visit app.momentumdash.com in your browser.
- Click the Install button at the top of the page.
- Momentum will install automatically as a PWA.
- Once it opens, sign in to your account and you're all set.
A few things to keep in mind
- The PWA is powered by your browser, it's not a standalone desktop app.
- To work properly, the PWA depends on your browser and the Momentum extension being active. If the extension is disabled, the app won't launch.
- Disabling or uninstalling the extension will prevent the PWA from opening correctly.
