How to set up permissions for one-time login on Safari

While Momentum seamlessly integrates with Safari, it may require additional manual permissions for one-time login. This article provides step-by-step instructions to assist you on how to set it up.

MacOS Safari

If you've installed the Momentum app on your computer and you're encountering issues where the dashboard doesn't open, and you see the grey Momentum logo, you will need to grant permission to access Momentum when opening a new tab.

To enable permissions:

1. Click the grey Momentum logo in your browser toolbar. (Don't see a Momentum logo? Click here)
   

2. A permissions dialogue will ask you to grant Momentum access to this website. Click "Always Allow on This Website". (Don't see a permissions dialogue? Click here).
   
   

3. The Momentum icon in the toolbar should now be turquoise.
   
   

After following these steps, you can now visit your dashboard.

iOS Safari

To enable permissions:

1. Go to your iPhone's ⚙️ Settings

2. Click Safari

3. In Safari settings, tap Extensions

4. In Extensions, tap Momentum.

5. Enable Momentum by toggling the switch to the right

Setting up permissions through macOS Safari preferences

1. In the menu bar, go to Safari > Preferences.

2. In Safari preferences, go to Extensions

3. Tick the check box at the upper left corner of the tab

4. Click Edit websites

5. In the dropdown next to momentumdash.com, select Allow.
