A synced Momentum account automatically backs up your Momentum data (Todos, Links, Favorites, etc.). Additionally, it lets you see your Momentum data if you log into your Momentum account on other computers.
A Momentum account that hasn't been synced stores Momentum data locally in your browser. If you clear your local storage, reinstall Momentum or your browser, or your computer crashes you will lose your Momentum data.
Note: Accounts created after March 2017 automatically have Account Sync enabled. If you think that you might be using an account that was created before March 2017, we highly recommend that you double-check that Account Sync has been activated so you don't lose any of your Momentum data.
Checking & activating Account Sync
- Click the Settings ⚙️icon at the bottom left corner of Momentum.
- Click your profile image/name at the bottom left corner of Momentum's Settings ⚙️menu.
- If an Account Sync switch doesn't appear then your account has already been synced. If the Account Sync switch does appear, click the switch to activate account sync.
If your Momentum account wasn't synced already your Momentum data will now be safely stored and you'll be able to access it on any computer that you log in to your Momentum account on. 👍
