Sign out and back into your Google account
A stuck or outdated Google account session can sometimes prevent Momentum from installing correctly.
- Visit the Chrome Web Store page ↗.
- Click your Chrome account email at the top right corner.
- Click Sign out.
- Click Sign in at the top right of the Chrome Web Store page.
- Sign back into your Chrome account.
- Try adding Momentum again from Momentum's Chrome Web Store page ↗.
Update Google Chrome
Running an outdated version of Chrome can also cause installation issues.
- Type or paste
chrome://help/into your address bar and press enter. - Chrome will automatically check for updates. If you're not on the latest version, click Relaunch.
Reinstall Google Chrome

Q: Will reinstalling Chrome delete my Momentum data?
A: No, your Momentum data is tied to your account login. Once you sign back in, all your data — including notes, tasks, and saved settings — will be restored.
Q: Can I install Momentum on mobile or on browsers other than Chrome?
A: Currently, Momentum is supported on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers. On mobile, Safari on iOS is the only supported browser. Momentum is not available on Android.
Q: What should I include when contacting support about an install issue?
